Another walking skirt with jacket

I love three day weekends.  Even though I had plenty of other things to do (including being out of town all Sunday afternoon and evening) I was able to complete another outfit.  This one is a walking skirt that has a bit of a train to it and a matching bolero/jacket.
What do you think?
It is a lovely purple with black lining and trim on the jacket.
The train in the back is only about 3 inches.
A close-up of the jacket.  I can't take credit for the lace blouse except that it is from my closet.
This is for one of my models. I do hope she likes it.

  1. I don't know how you find the time to fit in all this sewing!

The royal purple of the suit is stunning. Love the bolero jacket. Will we see it on one of your models?

    1. I love the purple. Even better, I love the color names that get given to things. This color is called "Blackberry Rodeo". Go figure.
And yes, there will be photos with the models coming. She can't wait to be able to try it on.

  2. I am not usually a bolero fan, but this is quite classy. Love the colours! Great work!

    1. Thanks. This particular bolero is much more 'jacket-like' than many. Some really only cover the shoulders and I've never been a fan of those.

  3. The bolero is perfect with that skirt! And I love the color, too. Cannot wait to see all your creations on models!

    1. I"m really happy with the way it turned out. It wasn't the skirt my model wanted but I used 'designer's perogative' because I thought this one would look better. She wanted a much fuller skirt with an overskirt. I think this is much more classy.
